The Approval Authority work area includes a matrix and custom rules that can be configured to determine the approval authority level a Lending 360 user will need to manually approve an application.  The approval authority level ranges from 1 (the lowest level) to 10 (the highest level).  The level assigned will be the greater of the level from the matrix and the highest level assigned by any custom rule.

 

If this section is used, when a Lending 360 user attempts a manual decision, the user's approval authority level will be compared to the most recent system decision and Approve or Counter will only be allowed if the user's approval authority level is equal to or greater than the system assigned approval authority level for the given application.

 

If this section is not used, then this is no approval authority requirement for the user.
