Military Lending Act (MLA)
Credit Bureau Setup now supports the MLA Covered Borrower Search from Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.
| • | The credit bureau must activate MLA Covered Borrower Search for the subscriber code so that it is returned only when requested (keyword driven). |
| • | CU Direct staff must add MLA Covered Borrower Search to the subscriber code in CEM. |
| • | After the steps above are completed, select MLA Covered Borrower Search in Decision Manager Credit Bureau Setup and promote the product to the Live environment. |
| • | The credit report display will include the results of the search. |
| • | The variable “MLA Covered Borrower Status” can be used throughout Decision Manager in rules and matrices. Descriptions for all variables can be found in the Appendix. |
Maintenance
| • | Upgraded to the SHA-2 digital certificate for TransUnion Net Access. |
