Experian Housing Rental Trades

In December 2010, Experian began incorporating positive housing rental data into the credit report.  Housing rental trades are reported with:

Account type “29” (rental agreement)
KOB type “RR” (property management companies)
Terms - Installment

As a result, the monthly payment for these trades is included in our calculation of “Total Monthly Non-Mortgage Payments” and in-turn used in the Debt-to-Income calculations.  We are not changing our system debt calculations, but we have added several variables to identify the prevalence of this data.
