The Tier Matrix is optional.  The Tier (or risk level) can be assigned entirely using rules if that is preferred.  See Tier Rules for additional information.

 

NOTE: If Tiers have been set up and both the matrix and the rules are bypassed, the best tier (i.e. Tier 1 or A+) will be assigned as the Approved Tier.

 

To Create a Matrix

1. Select variable(s) from the Variable Manager and drag to the vertical and/or horizontal axis.

2. Complete the axis by modifying the ranges.

3. Complete the matrix by selecting a Tier from the pick-list within each cell.
