Notations are setup by adding custom rules, that - when true, will cause a notation (or warning) to be returned with the decision results without changing the decision status. Notations are similar to Stipulations, but unlike Stipulations, Notations do not change the decision status.
Notations Setup
Before creating any notation rules, define the text of the notations you will want to use. This is done on the Setup tab. Simply enter the text in the next available field that reads "Click here to add a new Notation".
The code field is optional.
To delete a notation, click on the red "X" to the right of the notation.
Once you have entered the text for your notations, you are ready to create Notation Rules.
Creating Notation Rules
Use the Notation Rule Editor to create rules.
Add a description of the notation rule.
From the text that you created in the Notation Setup, select the text for the notation.
Identify which decisions the notation will apply to (Approval, Referral, Decline).
