Decision Manager has three environments:

1. Edit – Setup new products and modify existing products.  When completed, changes are promoted to the Test and/or Live environments.  Work that is saved but not promoted to the Test or Live environments will not impact those environments and will be viewable only in the Edit environment.

2. Test – The Test environment, in conjunction with the Challenge Report, allows you to see how changes to underwriting criteria would impact live applications.  When you run a Challenge Report, live applications are re-decisioned against the underwriting criteria in the Test environment and the live decision results are compared to the results of the Test environment.  For further information, refer to the Challenge Report.

3. Live – The Live environment of Decision Manager displays the products’ configuration settings being applied to live applications.

 

NOTE: The Test and Live environments are read-only.  Changes must be made in the Edit environment, then promoted to Test and Live.
